When I began visiting Arizona in 2019 I was amazed at the color and beauty I discovered in the desert.  Since then I have been painting the landscapes and flora of Arizona with acrylic inks on raw canvas with watercolor techniques.  The natural canvas color shines through the translucent paint and is my lightest value.  I love how the soft colors reflect the natural environment of the southwest.
