Stretching a piece of raw canvas and  staining it with pigment is a technique made famous by Helen Frankenthaller and Morris Louis.  I have tried a variety of staining type pigments and pouring techniques to create my most recent compositions that combine the influence of these two artists with my passion for the organic form and the work of Georgia O'Keefe.
